Territory Sales Engineer - Mechanical Equipment Manufacturer – Chicago

Our client, a 100 year old OEM of Capital rotating equipment is $500m in sales and growing at 27%.

20 year client. Working directly with the Sr VP for region that is a personal friend to ensure confidentiality and quick response.

If you have experience in equipment rental, sales, engineered equipment,  HVAC, Chiller, Pumps, Air movement, Capital Equipment, pneumatic, controls, fluid power, fluids, filtration or anyone that calls on industrial markets and are a hunter mentality in or near Chicago then we would be interested in speaking with you.

They have an immediate need for a skilled Outside Sales , Territory Sales Engineer in the  Chicago, IL market

In this role, the Outside Sales Engineer would work hands on in the markets to execute sales initiatives that will target current and potential customers in their assigned regions. In addition, this person will source and track key sales opportunities for the purpose of securing the specification of the product line on these projects. They will also help to target accounts for additional sales. 

The compensation for this position will be very strong, offering a base salary to $60-70k, plus a strong commission package that ranges from $30-75k annually depending on sales with NO CAP.  Average comp is $118k in addition, the package will include a monthly car allowance, gas etc.

Requirements include 2 years of experience in a sales and business development role, selling or marketing products and services in industrial sales market.
