Our EXCLUSIVE Client, a leading $400m + consumer goods manufacturer is looking to add a strategic Associate Product Manager to their Atlanta team. 

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the product marketing organization of our global business. Key responsibilities also include supporting other parts of the organization as required.?

We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Associate Product Manager who will be responsible for developing and assisting with the expansion of existing product lines including new product development and product management.

The Associate Product Manager plans and executes programs for assigned products within the categories. This position also assists in the management of the new and/or existing product line through the complete product life cycle of development to retail placement.

Responsibilities:

·         Assists in the execution of annual marketing plans for assigned products/brands, including go-to-market plans, new product development, pricing strategies, and sales plans

·         Works closely with cross functional teams such as: sales, purchasing, creative and manufacturing functions on design and product specifications

·         Assist in the development and participation in presentations along with sales to key customers

·         Participates in the development of the customer mix, merchandising, POG logic and POP communication in the retail, catalog, and on-line channels

·         Ensure on-time delivery of products and inventory management working closely with Supply Chain Management and Sales teams

·         Execute sales support collateral development - including samples, catalogs, websites

 

Position Qualification:

·         BS/BA is required, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing or related

·         Strong written, interpersonal and presentation skills

·         Experience in working with cross functional teams

·         Excellent organizational and analytical skills

·         Project management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline driven environment

·         Experience with retail market preferred

·         Experience with consumer packaged goods preferred

·         Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
